Life is interesting, isn’t it? We all have 24 hour days we get to navigate and work through. Sometimes they fly by and other times they drag by. Yet we all are destined to live 24 hour days.
What will you do with your days, how will you best use the 24 hours of opportunity that you have been given? This is your life’s mission – to make the most of the time with which you are blessed!
Hold Steady
No matter where God has you, hold steady and be faithful. God has an amazing way of putting us where He needs us. It is our duty and privilege to make the most of where He has us.
It is interesting to take a birds-eye view of our own lives and consider what we see. We can get so lost in the monotony of everyday that we fail to appreciate the beauty of what’s right in front of us. So instead of wishing your 24 hour days away, consider more deeply what God might be doing in your life.
Sometimes as women we love to give one another advice. Things just appear clearer when looking from the outside in. But what if you got creative and gave yourself your own advice? You may just find that you can make a lot of lemonade out of the lemons you previously thought you were stuck with.
Whether in the valley or on the mountaintop, God is faithful! Hold steady to that knowledge as you go through your 24 hour days.
Choose To Be Strong
Do you know you can choose to be strong? To hold steady and be strong minded in God’s faithfulness and provision is a wonderful way to live your life! Storms and surprises will come, how you respond to them will determine how they impact you.
Reading your Bible and growing your relationship with Him will strengthen you like nothing else. Make this a priority in your life. When bumps in the road come, you will never lament your time spent searching out God. Rather you will navigate them all the better because of your wise choice of keeping God a priority in your life!
One of my favorite verses is 2 Timothy 1:7 and I share it often. In essence, it states that God has not given us a spirit of fear or timidity, but rather power, love and self-discipline. And part of self-discipline is having a decided – strong – mind that holds steady to the things God is and says and disregards the fears and concerns of the world. It is our job to be strong because the God we serve is strong!
It can be easy to be overcome and discouraged. But what if we chose courage and strength one day at a time? We’re not promised grace for tomorrow, but God Himself will help us through each day! 24 hour days drag by so much less when we realize the strength God gives us!
Flourish
Barely making it through 24 hour days is no way to live. We may have days that are long or hard, that’s part of life. It is what we do with these days that help us learn to triumph and prosper even in the struggle.
Life is so much what you make of it. Look for the sunshine, for the exceptional, for God’s presence and blessings in all the little details. You will find so much more joy and purpose when you do!
And don’t just settle for the status quo of life, discover and invest in your interests. Grow and step out of your comfort zone. 24 hour days can be transformed from mundane or weary into something extra special and exciting by simply reframing your own perspective! And that is powerful to remember and implement!
Until Next Time!
Hope.
