Reminisce magazine is a delightful, story-filled, light-hearted magazine that I most heartily recommend! If you are looking for a gift for your grandparents, parents or children, the enjoyable, sweet stories are sure to warm the hearts of whomever you get it for!
I hadn’t had the pleasure of reading this magazine until one day my sister shared three which she had received from her husband’s grandmother. One of these lovely magazines featured stories about brides in the 1950s. The photos, the dresses, the stories were just lovely and sweet!
One of my favorite things about these magazines is how much my niece enjoys them! She frequently asks, “Has another Reminisce come yet?!” And once one has arrived, she eagerly reads and enjoys the stories and photos! They are so interesting and educational! We learn some fascinating things about history and growing up in the mid-1900s.
One adorable story that was in the magazine a while back was about a little girl who was supposed to sweep up the kitchen after supper as part of cleanup. The broom was kept outside on a hook out on the porch. In order to get the broom, one had to walk a few steps across the porch in the dark. Every night the little girl would plead with her mother and siblings to get the broom for her because she was scared of the dark. After weeks of this happening, her mother reassured her that there was no need to be frightened, God was out there in the darkness. The little girl bravely stepped to the door, swung it open and spoke into the darkness, “God, would you please hand me the broom?”. Such a sweet little story!
While on vacation earlier this year, I packed a few to read along the way. My nephews eagerly swapped them around and read each story. I loved hearing them discuss the different stories about soldiers, space exploration and music crazes! Such fun!
If you are looking for a magazine for your children, parents, great uncle, or yourself, I highly recommend Reminisce Magazine! Reading about others experiences and seeing their photos is so enjoyable and delightful! 
Reminisce Magazine puts out six magazines a year. Reminisce Extra is a second, similar magazine that is delivered six times a year also. If you subscribe to both magazines you will receive a new magazine every month! That’s what I do!
