Do you ever get this breath of fresh air where hope fills your heart and you feel as if there are limitless possibilities in front of you?!
I don’t experience this often, but every now and then it hits me. It comes unexpectedly and I love to just pause and drink it in! Now I’ll tell you upfront, I’m a pretty optimistic person. Things can definitely get me down from time to time, but God has given me an amazing ability to shift my perspective and find the good in so many situations!
This morning as I drove in to work, one of these wonderful moments of hope and limitless possibilities came over me. Things that have been weighing me down, pestering at the back of my mind, seemed to diminish. Plans, direction, renewed delight in my work overcame me. These moments are truly magical and feel God-breathed. Like Scripture says, He refreshes my soul!
How limitless are these possibilities?
Limitless literally means without limits (within Godly parameters, of course!)! God is limited by nothing and He is paving the way for me. There are times that are difficult with a lot of hard work, but these times are always followed by encouraging times! Times filled with rest and encouragement, a reconfirming of what we are called to do.
But you have to be alert to these times in order to appreciate them for what they are. You will find what you look for in almost any situation. If you look for the encouragement, the joy, then you will find it – even in the trying times! But if you look at the petty annoyances and what you don’t have, there will always be some of that too. It is up to you to learn to look for the right thing!
Make the most of it!
As you go about your life be sure to make the most of it! Take the time to curl your hair, choose your sparkly earrings, wear those shoes with the cheerful pop of color – whatever your it is.
I’ve heard that marriages and relationships can grow boring and lose their interest if you don’t continually make the effort to pour into them and find interest and delight in them. And the same is true about life! Don’t get stuck in a rut! Figure out what brings you joy and then incorporate it into your life! And this joy can be found in simple things, such as taking a walk – it doesn’t have to be an elaborate plan!
Expect the Best!
Limitless possibilities inspire you to expect the best. Learn to look for the remarkable, to praise God for the little things, and to move forward in life with expectant hope! There will be trials along the way, but remember that this is where we grow closer to God! Struggles, as much as we fight them, are actually quite good for us! Lean in and trust God!
Christ said that His way is easy and burden is light. I truly believe that – even through the hard times. If I just remember to follow His lead and give Him my best, He always comes through and helps me! No struggle is too large and no wait too long if you will look to Him!
