Bloom Where You Are Planted

Bloom Where You Are Planted

Bloom Where You Are Planted

Just as many mothers I’ve known have read books on child rearing and training, I’ve listened to and read a lot of trainings about different aspects of business. I believe it is vital to bloom where you are planted – whether that is studying for your science tests, learning ladylike manners or learning about nutrition.

Why is it so important to bloom? I think it is one of the best ways that we can honor God! He does so much for us – more than we can ever begin to realize! What better way to show Him our appreciation and gratitude for His never-ending love and mercy?!

To bloom our best and brightest for God we must put all our energies into what He has given us to do.

I could read all the books I can find on car engines, but the truth of the matter is, my business is lady’s fashion, so it would just be a waste of my time and energy. (It would be like a rose trying to become a lily!) In order to bloom where I am now I do trainings on business and learn about fashion and style. I also go through trainings about blogs and how to write well. I want to be as effective as I possibly can be where I am!

The other day I was listening to yet another Webinar and the woman was saying how there was no secret to success. Some people might have step by step lists of what worked for them and what they think will work for you, but that process will either work or it won’t.

The truth is, as I think we’ve known all along, there is no secret to success – in life or business. You just work at something, try different approaches, different ideas, and if you are faithful and consistent you will succeed! You will find the niche in life and in work that is meant for you! And that will be your story. And it will be perfectly unique to you!

So let me encourage you, instead of dreaming about what we would do if we were somewhere else or if our lives had happened such and such way, let us remember to live intentionally and bloom where we are! Let’s make the little changes that we are able to make so that we enjoy where we are all the more! As I read recently, a flower has to push through a lot of soil (challenges) to become a beautiful bloom!

Anticipate What’s Coming!

But with that said, may we never stop dreaming and anticipating what’s ahead! I’ve got lots of hopes and dreams in my heart, and I know that at just the right time they will either come to pass or the dream of them will be gone. And that will be perfect either way, because that is my story, written by God Himself!

“For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay.” – Habakkuk 2:3

To me, this verse talks about your hopes and dreams – the vision. They are for a set time, not something that we can rush. But just because we can’t rush them, doesn’t mean that they aren’t coming – they won’t fail. And though they seem to take forever to happen, they will certainly happen! They will not delay! Isn’t that encouraging?!

May God Bless you with abundant patience, enthusiasm and contentment as you wait for His perfect plan! Now Ladies, let’s bloom in our right here and right now!

Until Next Time!

Hope.
